Storico Carnevale di Ivrea
Lo Sorico Carnevale di Ivrea è il più antico carnevale d’Italia, dal medioevo è stato tramandato fino ai giorni nostri. L’evento si è svolto, quest’anno, tra il 6 gennaio ed il 26 Febbraio e tutte le giornate sono state caratterizzate da approcci ingegneristici di diversa complessità: le giornate dal 6 Gennaio al 16 Febbraio presentano una presenza di pubblico limitato, non superiore alle 1500 persone, quindi sono state considerate di basso rischio; le altre giornate, dove affluenza di pubblico è invece elevata, l’approccio è stato più serrato e sono state seguite le norme della Circolare del Ministero del 18.07.2018.
Per la gestione di questo evento la Città di Ivrea è stata suddivisa in quattro macroaree, Centro Storico, Borghetto, Corteo Storico e Rondolino, e sono state eseguite analisi di vulnerabilità e verifiche d’esodo tramite simulazione, a garantire l’efficacia del progetto Safety&Security. È stato previsto che l’area Centro Storico potesse contenere un numero massimo di 15.000 persone e l’area Borghetto 4.800.
I varchi d’accesso sono stati tali da favorire un senso unico di tipo pedonale con le persone contate in ingresso ed uscita. Grazie ad un server centrale è stato possibile capire il numero di persone presenti dentro l’area, anche grazie all'ausilio di telecamere a servizio della polizia e della control room del Safety Manager, Ingegnere Giuseppe Amaro, riuscendo a valutare, in tempo reale, il numero di persone in ogni area e quindi garantire la massima sicurezza.

Carnival of Ivrea is the oldest Carnival of Italy, which from the Middle Ages has been handed down to our days. This event takes place between 6th January and 26th February and all days are characterized by engineering approaches of different complexity. The days from 6th January to 16th February have a limited presence of public, no more than 1500 people, therefore considered low risk.
The approach changes during the other days where there is high public turnout, and the rules of the Ministry Circular of 18/07/2018 are followed. The management of this event carried out a vulnerability analys and exodus checks through a simulation, ensuring the efficiency of the project.
City of Ivrea has been divided into 4 macro areas: Historical Center Area, Borghetto Area, Historical Parade Area and Rondolino Area.
The Historical Center Area can contain a maximum number of 15000 people and Borghetto Area a maximum number of 4800. The Gates will be one way access, and will be pedestrian gates, people will be counted in and out with a central server the Event management will be able to understand the number of people into the area thanks to the camers that will send images to the police and the control room of the Safety manager (Giuseppe Amaro) managing to evaluate in real time the number of people in each area and ensure better security.

L’ Ing. Chiara Amaro si è laureata in Ingegneria Edile presso il Politecnico di Torino, nel 2019 ha conseguito un master in Gestione delle infrastrutture Sportive presso il Politecnico di Milano e ha partecipato alla Storm Accademy sponsorizzato dall’Unione Europea per il programma Horizon 2020 presso l’Università della TUSCIA in collaborazione con l’ISA (Istituto Superiore Antincendio) di Roma. Nel 2018 ha conseguito il Diploma Europeo in Esperto in Prevenzione Incendio presso l’Università di Roma Tre e nello stesso hanno ha frequentato il Corso per Addetto alla Sicurezza Prevenzione e Protezione presso l’Università di Roma Tre.

Nel corso dell’attività lavorativa ha acquisito esperienza in merito alla gestione e alla progettazione ingegneristica di grandi eventi avendo assunto il Ruolo di Responsabile di Commessa per eventi sia di tipo sportivo che di pubblico spettacolo presso la Gae Engineering.

Eng. Chiara Amaro gratuated in Construction Engineering at the Polytechnic of Turin, in 2019 she obtained a master’s degree in sports infrastructure management at the Polytechnic of Milan and has participated in the Storm Accademia sponsored by European Union for the Hotizon 2020 programme at the University of TUSCIA in collaboration with the ISA (Higher Fire institute) of Rome. In 2018 she obtained the European Diploma in Fire Prevention Expert at the University of Roma Tre and at the same time she attended the Course for Safety Prevention and Protection at the University of Roma Tre.
During her work activity she gained experience in the management and engineering design for large events having taken on the role of Contract Manager for both sporting and public events at Gae engineering.
As a Contract Manager, she deals with: - Supervisor of the Design Team; - Collaborating with the Sector Head and defining the work strategy; - Attend meetings with the clients, - Attend in Supervisory Committees ( CCV e CPV ) and Committees for Public Order and Security( COSP) - Control of the contract budget.
