Il Giro d’Italia è una corsa a tappe di ciclismo maschile su strada che si svolge lungo le strade italiane con cadenza annuale.

Detto anche Giro o Corsa Rosa, istituito nel 1909, si  disputa nell'arco di tre settimane,  durante il mese di maggio. Mentre il luogo di partenza è in genere ogni volta diverso, l'arrivo, salvo eccezioni, è a Milano. Occasionalmente il percorso può interessare anche località al di fuori dai confini italiani.

La manifestazione è inserita dall’Unione Ciclistica Internazionale nel circuito professionistico UCI World Tour ed è da ritenersi tra le più prestigiose corse a tappe.

La Strategia GAe

GAe ha definito che l’area di applicazione delle misure di Safety corrisponde al Partenza che restano sotto la responsabilità dell’organizzatore RCS, Arrivo ed aree Villaggio, il percorso è ritenuto sotto l’egida delle Forze dell’Ordine.

GAe ha schierato in campo addetti operativi, che hanno seguito tutte le tappe assicurandosi che allestimenti e disallestimenti di strutture, tende, impianti, tribune, ecc., fossero realizzati come previsto dalla normativa.

Per l’evento sono stati predisposti:

• Piano della Sicurezza compresa la Relazione tecnico-illustrativa per le autorità;

• Piano di Gestione delle Emergenze e di Evacuazione;

• DUVRI e validazione dei fornitori;

• Cartellonistica di allontanamento;

• Verifica di idoneità tecniche professionali dei fornitori e la bontà delle certificazioni degli allestimenti e dei progetti elettrici e strutturali.
