Lo Sorico Carnevale di Ivrea è il più antico carnevale d’Italia, dal medioevo è stato tramandato fino ai giorni nostri. L’evento si è svolto, quest’anno, tra il 6 gennaio ed il 26 Febbraio e tutte le giornate sono state caratterizzate da approcci ingegneristici di diversa complessità: le giornate dal 6 Gennaio al 16 Febbraio presentano una presenza di pubblico limitato, non superiore alle 1500 persone, quindi sono state considerate di basso rischio; le altre giornate, dove affluenza di pubblico è invece elevata, l’approccio è stato più serrato e sono state seguite le norme della Circolare del Ministero del 18.07.2018.
Per la gestione di questo evento la Città di Ivrea è stata suddivisa in quattro macroaree, Centro Storico, Borghetto, Corteo Storico e Rondolino, e sono state eseguite analisi di vulnerabilità e verifiche d’esodo tramite simulazione, a garantire l’efficacia del progetto Safety&Security. È stato previsto che l’area Centro Storico potesse contenere un numero massimo di 15.000 persone e l’area Borghetto 4.800.
I varchi d’accesso sono stati tali da favorire un senso unico di tipo pedonale con le persone contate in ingresso ed uscita. Grazie ad un server centrale è stato possibile capire il numero di persone presenti dentro l’area, anche grazie all'ausilio di telecamere a servizio della polizia e della control room del Safety Manager, Ingegnere Giuseppe Amaro, riuscendo a valutare, in tempo reale, il numero di persone in ogni area e quindi garantire la massima sicurezza.

Carnival of Ivrea is the oldest Carnival of Italy, which from the Middle Ages has been handed down to our days. This event takes place between 6th January and 26th February and all days are characterized by engineering approaches of different complexity. The days from 6th January to 16th February have a limited presence of public, no more than 1500 people, therefore considered low risk.
The approach changes during the other days where there is high public turnout, and the rules of the Ministry Circular of 18/07/2018 are followed. The management of this event carried out a vulnerability analys and exodus checks through a simulation, ensuring the efficiency of the project.
City of Ivrea has been divided into 4 macro areas: Historical Center Area, Borghetto Area, Historical Parade Area and Rondolino Area.
The Historical Center Area can contain a maximum number of 15000 people and Borghetto Area a maximum number of 4800. The Gates will be one way access, and will be pedestrian gates, people will be counted in and out with a central server the Event management will be able to understand the number of people into the area thanks to the camers that will send images to the police and the control room of the Safety manager (Giuseppe Amaro) managing to evaluate in real time the number of people in each area and ensure better security.

The Color Run è una corsa podistica amatoriale che si svolge lungo le strade di città italiane.
Su un percorso di 5 km, si incontrano 5 punti colore, 1 punto schiuma ed un punto bolle, nei quali gli atleti vengono sporcati da polveri colorate e da schiuma/bolle atossiche. Lo scopo della manifestazione è il divertimento con la famiglia e gli amici.
Al termine della corsa, dal palco del Villaggio, si svolge l’intrattenimento musicale per tutti gli sportivi.

La Strategia GAe
Per le varie edizioni, Gae si è occupata di assicurare la sicurezza degli atleti, non professionisti, lungo tutto il percorso della gara che prevedeva anche la presenza di pubblico di tutte le età.

The Color Run is an amateur running race that takes place along the streets of Italian cities. On a 5 km course, there are 5 color points, 1 foam point and a bubble point, in which the athletes are dirtied by colored powders and non-toxic foam / bubbles. The purpose of the event is to have fun with family and friends. At the end of the race, musical entertainment for all sportsmen takes place from the Village stage. In 2017 it was held in: Bologna - Camaiore - Milan - Lignano Sabbiadoro - Turin - Verona In 2018 it was held in: Genoa - Milan - Lignano Sabbiadoro - Riccione In 2019 it was held in: Parma - Lignano Sabbiadoro - Turin - Milan. The GAe Strategy For the various editions, Gae took care of ensuring the safety of athletes, non-professionals, along the entire course of the race which also included the presence of audiences of all ages. Services For the event, the following were prepared: DUVRI and supplier validation; Safety Plan including the technical-illustrative report for the authorities; Emergency Management and Evacuation Plan; Signage of removal. Verification of professional technical suitability of suppliers and the quality of the certifications of the fittings and of the electrical and structural projects.
